DMA Article 7 Regulatory Terms
Effective Date: October 2026 ยท Version 2.0 (Chamando.eu)
Chamando.eu is an independent, non-commercial interpersonal communications client and gateway designed for European Economic Area (EEA) end users. It provides cross-platform interoperability with designated gatekeeper messaging platforms (including WhatsApp and Messenger, operated by Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd) pursuant to Article 7 of Regulation (EU) 2022/1925 (Digital Markets Act - DMA).
Chamando.eu is strictly intended for peer-to-peer (P2P), consumer-level messaging. It does not provide merchant processing, order automation, or enterprise customer relationship tools.
All 1:1 cross-platform communications delivered through Chamando.eu are cryptographically secured using the Signal Protocol (incorporating Double Ratchet, Curve25519, SHA-256 and AES-GCM). PreKeys and identity ratchets are validated peer-to-peer. Chamando.eu servers and intermediate relays have zero mathematical access to plaintext content, media keys, or conversation histories.
In accordance with DMA interoperability specifications, user accounts are tied to valid international E.164 mobile numbers verified via two-factor SMS authentication. Users retain full autonomy over their display profile and may revoke local ratchet keys or terminate sessions at any time via the application settings.
Cross-network communication occurs exclusively when both the Chamando.eu user and the Meta/WhatsApp user have explicitly opted into third-party chat exchanges. Neither platform exerts governance, moderation, or liability over the technical infrastructure of the other beyond the standardized cryptographic boundary.
